This isn’t the only awful incident I’ve experienced here. The in store pickup for online purchases is just miserable to deal with. I have never had as many problems with pickup as I have at this location. They actually somehow managed to lose a King size mattress and pretended to go in the back to look for it, coming back after less than five seconds. When they couldn’t find it they gave no advice on what to do and literally blew me off. They didn’t give me any information on how to locate my purchase or how to get ahold of anyone who might know something.
Found everything we were looking for but 1 item and that wasn't the problem though. We had a cart full and didn't want to go to self check out which they had plenty of those lines open and only 1 express line open and 1 regular check out was open and the store was packed. We were 8th in line and 2 more people behind us but yet they advertise on TV how Wal-Mart employees can get you in and out by directing you to lines that are not busy. They just don't have enough regular lines open.
A typical Walmart Superstore, this one does have a plus to it though. The pharmacy is fantastic the pharmacist and technicians that work back there are extremely knowledgeable about medicines, thoughtful, and see if they go out of their way to help you.
Close to home, convenient, clean and well stocked. My issue is that the staff can be really unhelpful. Many are just plain rude. For example, went to grab some groceries later in the evening around 10:30pm, halfway through realized we needed a cart. Many employees leave empty carts around that are used for stocking late at night. We saw four or five empty carts that weren’t being used, looked around to make sure it didn’t belong to someone else. We take the cart and start to walk away only to be yelled at by an employee coming out from the back. We apologized and gave her back the cart, only to be scoffed at and given attitude. I told her the attitude wasn’t necessary and that we had no idea the cart was in use.. simple misunderstanding, right? Nope. She continued being rude and loud, so I asked for her name. She yelled her name at me and told me to go tell a manager and see what happens.
Nice store, I just wish they'd offer people checkout lines near both exits. I like to see my money pays for jobs and not machines. Salt for water softeners hard to find, requires hauling heavy bags long distances and they're mishandled so badly, exposed to weather, I won't buy these there again. Meijer has theirs near both entrances protected from weather and in good shape. Not sure how the pickup service works and would like to be able to see how customers like or not with reviews and tips to avoid bad outcomes.
I always go in this store for one thing and come out with a basket full of other things. They always have mark downs (roll backs) some where in the store. You just have to look. Happy shipping!!!.
Overall, it’s just like any other Walmart- but with poor staffing.
