I know that it is brand new so not everything will be running smoothly yet, but it was still pretty neat. The bathroom wasn't particularly clean, some stalls were out of toilet paper. Some things were out of stock, again it is still a new facility so I understand that part. Room set ups were pretty, gave good ideas. And the cafe part was really good. Food was tasty. Definitely going back to get the things that I wanted.
This is a one story IKEA which I like a lot. The employees are friendly and knowledgeable. The store layout is easy to navigate too. If you go on a weekend, be prepared to spend some time navigating Fishers and finding parking. Once you get into the store, your way is lit by arrows. Allow at least 90 minutes to just get through, 2 hours if you're really shopping.
Very nice products, helpful staff, but a smaller offering overall than other locations. Browsing the showroom floor is good, but make sure to check online for related products you may not be seeing. My sit-stand desk that I love, for example, is not in the showroom here.
It would be convenient if the grocery items were before checkout, so that you had to check out only once.
I'm not sure what would happen if I needed help while on the floor. There are staff all over the floor but I didn't need any help when I went. One story, but still enough that you get to the point where you start wondering where you'd go in case of a fire. It's just big. Very long very slow lines but not like going to Wal-Mart where you stand there for 40 minutes and don't move. They strategically placed the restaurant so that you must walk through it to finish your shopping excursion, one may as well stop and eat. We had breakfast, as it was 10:45 am. They opened at 10:00 and we were there with the first wave of people. It was my first time eating breakfast at an IKEA, though I have been to so many different ones in so many different states I'd have to think hard to figure out the number. I was happy they had their chocolate cake out, as I am one who will drive two hours to "go to IKEA" and actually only buy a slice of this cake. I tried their Swedish American breakfast. It was a little rubbery as far as the crepe type things went, but delicious wrapped around a sausage link. I'm sure not the way god intended, but I get creative when there is much to be desired. From the restaurant on, it gets congested. So it really is good to stop and gear up for the crowd that comes next if you aren't so into close proximity with strangers. It's a wonderful melting pot of accents. You'll notice if you just listen for it. This place is not for window shopping. We spent two hours there yesterday, but again I didn't really need anything. If you just look at their website for what you need, it tells you exactly where to go to find your item. It's best to go with someone who knows what they're doing unless you like an adventure. Good job Indy IKEA! You're doing great!
Went to the Fishers IKEA for the first time and loved it. I had a misconception that IKEA is expensive but it's not! Great pricing all over the store. I went through the entire store and was greeted multiple times by cheery employees. At the end of my trip when I realized an item wasn't in the warehouse section I asked for locating it only to have the gentleman go get it for me with no problem. I would definitely recommend this place if you are looking for a lot of choices to inexpensively decorate your home!
Overall, good quality and pricing.
