My son has learned a great deal while playing on the Best Choice league. I highly recommend if you're looking for competitive league for your child
If your not the a BCF team.......run as far and fast as you can, it is not set up for teams that are not sponsored through them, you don't have a chance, the refs are horrible and the head guy in charge is worthless as can be, don't waste your time and money your better off going to another facility to play.
My sons have played on Best Choice leagues for many years now. The facility has great parking and is easy to get to.
I am going to have to say this is one of the finer places my sons have played basketball. We played in the Invitational this past weekend and had an absolute fantastic time. The facility was very nice, prices were very reasonable (My family has had to pay some outlandish entry fees at other locations) and the competition was awesome. I have to honestly say the officiating for an AAU tournament was pretty good too. I know I have read some things on here maybe not agreeing, but this is the ONLY tournament I have been to that actually had someone on staff actually watching the referees and monitoring their games. We have played in events that are run as almost "training camps" for guys but this was actually a couple of individuals trying to help guys and gals get calls right and I liked it. Officials are never perfect and some are just flat bad but to make an effort to make product better gets a double THUMBS UP. SO all in all when you have a Nice gym, pretty reasonable prices and not total bad referees thats like 5 Stars for parents like us that travel all over the country!
The refs and the guy in charge (Alan) both cheat for all BCF teams, it's ridiculous! I'm moving my teams to Grand Park Fieldhouse (John Byrd), hopefully things will change for the better for my young men!
Honestly, if you don't know going in that this will be a nightmare, that's kinda on you. There's nothing balanced or fair about modern, for-profit kid's sports. This facility just can't manage any better than it does given the nature of the business they get. The place itself is VERY WELL kept, so if you're just coming for a tournament you'll be fine.
