***To follow up on this, shortly after posting this review, I did receive the payment from Morellis. I am thus changing my review from one star to two. With better communication, this entire situation could have been a non-issue.
How to lose a long term customer:
Use another dry cleaner at all costs!!! 12 weeks after losing my suit pants, I still have received no payment and have no reason to think that one will be made. As a regular user of dry cleaner, this is the worst customer service experience I have ever had. Massive waste of time and energy trying to rectify a pretty clear-cut undisputed issue.
7) Call customer back after receiving 5 voice mail messages and tell him that the check is in the mail.
6) After customer supplies both items, ignore him for 3 weeks.
9) Stop answering or returning phone calls.
8) Never send the check.
