One last note on some other reviews, I know it can seem frustrating that your date gets moved or delayed. Really think about the activity though and how fickle Indiana weather can be. Once you are up, you are at the mercy of nature to an extent, you cant steer a balloon. Tony puts the safety of his team and customers above making a profit.
I have done 5 rides with Midwest Balloons now over the past three years and Midwest Balloon Rides has always been great. Each flight has been in a different area of Fishers, Noblesville and once from downtown Indianapolis. You can't go wrong with Midwest Balloon Rides.
Our family really enjoyed the flight... Tony worked so hard to get us in on short notice. The crew was awesome too. I would recommend Midwest Balloon Rides to all bucket list adventurers.
We had a booking for Saturday, but as I watched the weather leading up to it I knew that was going to be a long shot. Tony reached out on the Wed before and let us know he had openings that day and Fri. Weather looked the best Wed so we decided to go then. My wife was surprised and we both had a great time, the entire process is very memorable. Watching the setup, the ride itself, great little surprise part way through, and the landing and helping to pack up the balloon is all just a great experience.
Not only did we have to reschedule 4 times for the weather, my fiance and I couldn't even stand by each other during the flight. Could not hear or talk to our pilot. The flight is pretty boring, you only get to see corn fields and in the very far off distance the Indy skyline... I recommend the hot air balloon ride, just in a better location, like Napa valley
I decided to surprise my wife with a hot air balloon ride(she has always wanted to go) and decided on Midwest after looking around in the Indy area. I could not have been more pleased with the knowledge and the professionalism of Tony and his team. Everyone was very personable and easy to talk to.
Very safe and reliable company. Was a great Christmas gift idea!
